Karen DeAguero
Founder & Lead Researcher
Karen DeAguero brings nearly a decade of environmental engineering and project management expertise to her work in mining reclamation. She holds a Master's degree in Natural Resources and Energy Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, both from the Colorado School of Mines. Karen is passionate about community engagement and environmental stewardship, serving as a Community Engagement Board Member for WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy). She is committed to transparent leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring responsible environmental management. Outside of her professional work, Karen enjoys staying active in her community and advocating for sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and local residents.
Tiffany Munoz
Founder & Lead Events Coordinator
Tiffany Munoz is a lifelong Colorado native and dedicated Arvada resident of 26 years, bringing her expertise in process improvement and procedure development to her community involvement. As a full-time working mother, she understands the challenges families face and is passionate about ensuring Arvada remains a safe place for children to grow and thrive. Professionally, Tiffany specializes in process improvement and procedural writing, skills that translate directly to her commitment to making local government more efficient and accessible. Tiffany recently discovered how many opportunities for civic engagement and city resources existed that she hadn't been aware of. This experience motivated her to help build Arvada Voices, an initiative focused on creating transparency and helping other residents learn about the full range of resources and opportunities available in their city. She believes that informed and engaged citizens make stronger communities, and is dedicated to ensuring all Arvadans have clear access to information about their local government and services.
Lily Allish
Founder & Lead Business Correspondent
Lily Allish has spent the last decade in finance, accounting, and operations across SaaS, aviation, and large public corporations. She holds a Bachelor’s in Finance and an MBA from the University of Denver, bringing expertise in financial strategy, systems management, and process improvement. A proud Arvada resident, Lily purchased her home in Arlington Meadows in 2024 after living in surrounding cities since 2017. She is passionate about thoughtful community growth, transparency, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly to benefit all Arvadans. Outside of work, Lily enjoys DIY projects, staying active, and spending time with her two German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees dogs.
Joshua Lewis
Founder & Lead Designer
Joshua Lewis brings a diverse background in creative arts and operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Business from Metropolitan State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. As a multifaceted creative professional, Joshua has extensive experience in photography, digital art, and visual storytelling, having showcased his work at prestigious venues including Emmanuel Gallery and Denver Clock Tower. His digital works "The Natural Machine" and "Liquid Meditation" demonstrate his talent for large-scale visual narratives. He is passionate about creative problem-solving, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional quality in all his endeavors. Joshua has had his artwork featured in award-winning publications. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys exploring new artistic mediums, photography, and contributing to community art initiatives.
