What’s Happening Tonight: Olde Town “Designated Drinking Area” Up for Council Approval
Arvada City Council votes tonight on Olde Town's Designated Drinking Area, allowing adults 21+ to enjoy take-out alcoholic beverages outdoors within marked boundaries. The program would permit participating businesses with liquor licenses to sell sealed, QR-coded drinks for outdoor consumption 9 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. Similar to Golden and Fort Collins programs, the initiative aims to boost downtown vibrancy, support local merchants, and energize public spaces in Arvada's historic district.
